10/11/2017 - Dinner tonight with family . We had fried squids, fried spring rolls, BBQ pork fried rice, grilled pork with fried egg on broken rice, chicken rice noodle soup and fish stew. So yummy . This is easily one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Christchurch.

This Vietnamese restaurant offers quick, friendly service and consistently flavorful food. The rare-beef pho had a lighter beef portion, but the broth and noodles were perfectly cooked. The spacious, clean setting and efficient staff make it a reliable spot. I’ll definitely be back.

Came with a friend for lunch. We had deep fried prawns and salt and pepper calamari for entree. Mains I had pork with lemon grass and garlic and my friend had chicken with chilli and ginger. Both entrees and mains were absolutely delicious and hot. Prices were relative to the portion size we got and we still had some to take home! Rice hot and fresh and was filled up if we ran out. Service was great. We will be back Five Star!!!

5Star Vietnamese – Truly Lives Up to Its Name! ???????? Tried out 5Star Vietnamese recently and was genuinely impressed by both the flavor and presentation. Fresh Spring Rolls – Light, crisp, and packed with herbs, prawns, and vermicelli. The peanut dipping sauce on the side was rich and creamy, perfectly tying it all together. A great way to start the meal! 5-Star Fried Vermicelli – This dish was a standout! Smoky wok-fried vermicelli, topped with crispy shallots, lemongrass chicken, and just the right hint of spice. It had that perfect balance of texture—crispy edges with soft noodles underneath. 5-Star Special Broken Rice – A total flavour bomb. The grilled pork chop was juicy and marinated to perfection, paired with a crispy spring roll, shredded pork skin, and a soft egg. The rice was fragrant and fluffy, and the fish sauce drizzle brought everything together. Service was friendly, food came out fast, and the portions were generous. Highly recommend if you’re after authentic, satisfying Vietnamese in town. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Would definitely come back!

Excellent lunch/dinner place. Recommend trying their beef ball pho, absolutely delicious! But if you’re looking to try different dishes don’t get the pho as it is huge and very filling! Family favourite restaurant, I always come back and tell my friends about this place

My regular Vietnamese restaurant. Once they have changed chef or recipe I disappointed and haven't been there for a while but this time even better. Definitely recommended. Love the food there

Very nice prawn and squid dishes. Not overcooked and very flavoursome. A large portion of the lemongrass king prawn dish and tofu medium dish is shown in the photos. Had to take home leftovers of the prawn dish... Can't finish despite it being absolutely delicious... BIG IS GOOD!
